Dr. Frank H. and Nancy G. Balke International Studies Program Endowed Scholarship

About this Scholarship:
Established in 2011 by Dr. Frank H. Balke and Nancy G. Balke. During his 33 years teaching German language, literature and culture and participating avidly in study abroad, Dr. Balke (in conjunction with Emeritus Professor of History, Erhard Dortmund) designed the International Studies program, which was approved in 1987. Though he has remained in contact with many of the lifetime friends he made during his time here, he felt something was missing—until he was introduced to the giving process! He and his wife are “both proud and also humbled to be able to help students financially with an International Studies endowment and scholarship program” in their name.
