Swenson Presidential Alumni Scholarship
Established in 1985 in memory of Richard Irving Swenson, a 1925 alumnus of Oregon Normal School. He served for two years as the business manager for the school newspaper, the Lamron (Normal spelled backwards). He also played the cornet in the Orchestra his junior and senior year.
Awarded to incoming students with a High School GPA of 3.75 or higher; a minimum combined SAT score of 1100; and participated in extra-curricular activities. This is a Presidential scholarship and can be renewed for up to three years.
